Mental Stimulation

I'm one of the aging baby boomers that are nearing retirement.  My family watched Alzheimer's erode my mother's brain and change her into someone her family didn't know.  So our great fear, mine and my sister's, is that we will be stricken with it like our mother.  So we have been reading about it and doing what we can to make sure that doesn't happen [hopefully].

TED Talks

My husband is a huge fan of TED Talks videos.  TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.
