Dorchester County Library will close the Old Courthouse location at 101 Ridge Street Wednesday, February 27 at 5 pm.  The book return box will remain at this location until Monday, March 4 when the library reopens at 506 North Parler Avenue.  While the library is closed Thursday, February 29 through Sunday, March 3, staff will move remaining items from the Old Courthouse and will be trained to operate the new automated materials handler and self checkout stations that patrons will use when the library reopens.  The library Grand Opening will be held at the newly renovated and expanded facility at 506 North Parler Avenue on March 3, beginning at 2 pm.  After the service, the building will be open for tours until 5pm.
