Computer Basics
Learn the basics of a compuer.  We will learn computer terms, the keyboard and how to use the mouse.  Open to adults 50 years old and up.  No experience necessary.

Internet Basics
This course explains the basics of the Internet.  Learn computer terms, how to search the Internet and explore some fun websites.  Keyboard and mouse experience required.

Email Basics
Learn how easy it is to create an email account, send and receive messages.  Topics include file attachment, folders and spam.  Keyboard and mouse experience preferred.

Internet Safety
This class will teach you how to protect yourself online.  Topics include virus protection as well as tips to keep you safe while shopping. Keyboard and mouse experience preferred.

Social Media
Be introduced to the world of social media.  Facebook, Pinterest and others will be taught in separate sessions.  Keyboard and mouse experience preferred.  Attendees must have a valid email address.

Microsoft Word
Learn how to create and edit documents using Microsoft Word.  Keyboard and mouse experience required.

PowerPoint
Learn how to create a slide presentation with text and pictures.  Word experience required.

File Storage and Organization
Have trouble finding files and pictures on your computer?  Learn how to create folders and keep your files manageable.  Keyboard and mouse experience preferred.

Tablets 101
Have a tablet that you can't figure out how to use?  Bring it in and learn how to download and use apps.  We will especially focus on iPads.

Cloud Computing
Have you heard of the Cloud but you're not quite sure what that means or how to access it?  Take a look at some common cloud applications and learn how easy and convenient cloud computing can be.  Keyboard and mouse experience preferred.

Managing Your Library Account
When you get a library card, you also get a library account.  From it, you can renew books, reserve items, create permanent reading lists and in the not-too-distant future, pay your fines online.  This class will show you how to do all these things.  Keyboard and mouse experience preferred.

Optimal Resume
Optimal Resume is a career management site offering a variety of tools to help you create, present, manage and share your professional credentials.  We will help job-seekers get registered and get going.  Computer experience required.  Attendees must have a valid email address.
