Computer Basics
Learn the basics of a compuer.  We will learn computer terms, the keyboard and how to use the mouse.  Open to adults 50 years old and up.  No experience necessary.

File Management
File Management introduces file names and naming conventions, how to create files and folders and how to manage your computer to keep it organized and up-to-date.  Keyboard and mouse experience required.

Google Email Basics
Learn how to set up and manage a Google e-mail account to send, receive and forward email.  You will also learn how to attach documents and create a contact list.  Keyboard and mouse experience preferred.

Introduction to Social Media
Learn how to create and manage social media accounts.  We will also learn terms, how to post messages, photos, and manage security settings.  Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and others will be taught in separate sessions.  Keyboard and mouse experience preferred.  Attendees must have a valid email address.

An Introduction to the Internet
Are you new to computers and the Internet?  We'll walk you through computer terms and help you get online!  Keyboard and mouse experience preferred.

Managing Your Library Account
When you get a library card, you also get a library account.  From it you can renew books, reserve items, create permanent reading lists and, in the not-too-distant-future, pay your fines online.  This class will show you how to do all these things.  Keyboard and mouse experience preferred.

Optimal Resume
Optimal Resume is a career management site offering a variety of tools to help you create, present, manage and share your professional credentials.  We will help job-seekers get registered and get going.  Computer experience required.  Attendees must have a valid email address.

PowerPoint 2007 Basics
Learn how to create and edit slides, insert text and pictures, apply themes and backgrounds to a presentation, work with placeholders and run a slide show.  Also, learn how to print slides and handouts.  Word experience required.

Word 2007 Basics
Learn the basics of Word 2007 and how to open and save a document, enter, edit and format text using the ribbon.  Keyboard and mouse experience required.

Word 2007 Beyond the Basics
Beyond the Basics teaches how to align text, adjust line spacing and how to create a bulleted list.  In addition, learn how to copy, cut and paste and insert graphics and tables into a document.  Keyboard and mouse experience required.
