What Do Junior Volunteers Do?

Reader's Club
Dream Big - READ!

  • Help with Summer Reading Club registration.
  • Help with craft programs for pre-schoolers.
  • Take up program tickets.
  • Assist at pre-school and family storytime.
  • Cut, count, alphabetize.
  • Learn good work habits that can be applied to a "real" job later.
  • Earn a Letter of Recommendation for satisfactory completion of at least 10 hours of volunteer work.

How Can You Become a Junior Volunteer?

 

  • You must be between the ages of 10 and 16.
  • Fill out and complete a Junior Volunteer application.
  • Complete and return the application to receive your Study Booklet.
  • Read and study your booklet to prepare for the Junior Volunteer test.
  • The Junior Volunteer test will be held May 19th at 3:00 pm. *
  • Apply early - space is limited!
