Getting Started:
 

An account must be created at the Library in order to download audio books.

Create an account from any Library public computer (you determine username and password) OR
    

Call the Library and staff will create a new account using the following guidelines:

User name - First letter of first name, last name, 4-digits of phone number - (jdoe1234)
 

Password - Same as User Name

Patrons are encouraged to change their password from the account settings tab
the first time they log in.

• Valid email address required.

• A personal computer with Internet access is required.

Audio books cannot be downloaded on Library computers.

• Maximum of 3 titles can be checked out.

• Patrons can choose to check out for 14 days or less (once downloaded, due date cannot be changed and title cannot be returned early.

• No renewals.  If no hold exists, title can be checked out again.

• No fines are charged since audio books are automatically "returned" when due.

• Patrons can place up to 3 holds.

• Email will be sent to patron when titles is available for downloading.  (Emails are sent by MyiLibrary and not from the Library's Evergreen email notifications.)

• First time users must install Ingram's Media Manager software on their computer before they can begin downloading items.  You will be prompted to install the software during the checkout process.

• Audio books can be listened to directly from the computer or can be transferred to a portable listening device: iPod, iPhone (iTunes software required) or any Windows Media compatible device (WMA software required).  Click here for more information.

To Create an Account:

Click Login

Click here to create a new account 

Fill in required fields (note valid requirements).

After you click GO the following message will display.

A new account has been created and an email will be sent to the email address provided in the account.  You must click on the link provided in the email to activate the account.  (If unable to click on the link, copy and paste URL to browser).

 

 

You can now search, select and download titles!
